Michael Rumen Joins AWT

AWT is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Michael Rumen to our Systems Division management team. Mike comes to AWT with over 16 years of experience in the environmental industry, working on both public and private sector projects comprising environmental remediation, industrial waste processing, and landfill construction. He has managed groundwater sampling programs, mobile remediation events (i.e., EFRs) with ICE equipment, and remedial system construction including SSDS installations.

Mike will be managing installation, maintenance, and operation of systems at AWT, including groundwater and leachate extraction and treatment systems, groundwater air sparge systems, SVE systems, and vapor collection systems – including sub-slab vapor mitigation work. Mike will also be point for planning and scheduling EFR events and remediation equipment rentals.

Mike is an NJDEP licensed industrial wastewater treatment operator and received his B.S. from Cook College, Rutgers University in 2001. He is very into hockey and likes to fish – but apparently only in warm weather, and enjoys spending time with his family. AWT is very happy to formally welcome Mike on board and we wish him great success here in years to come!
